Our Founder’s Story

From Engineers to Caretakers

In 2017, Shreekant and Charmy Malde faced a personal turning point. After a decade-long career in IT and Chemical Engineering, we experienced the profound loss of a father to cancer. This moment forced us to pause and rethink our lifestyle. We realized that true health begins with the purity of what we consume, and that purity is deeply rooted in how we care for nature.

We chose to move away from our corporate careers not to simply start a business, but to pursue a more mindful way of living. We began our journey with just four Gir cows. While we didn't come from a traditional farming background, we brought with us a scientific perspective and a deep desire to reconnect with the roots of nutrition. GauNeeti was born from this intention: to combine our professional rigor with the ancient, emotional bond of caring for the Gaumata. Our goal was simple to create a space where the cow is treated with the respect she deserves, ensuring the milk we share is as honest as the care we provide.

The Cow-First Philosophy

How We Care for Our COWS

Our herd of 150+ Gir cows are the true owners of GauNeeti. We don’t manage them; we serve them.

The "Calf-First" Policy

We believe a mother’s first duty is to her child. At GauNeeti, the calf always receives its full share of milk first. We then carefully collect the additional nourishing milk provided by the Gaumata, ensuring that what reaches your table is a product of contentment, not compromise.

A Forever Home

We take care of our non-milking cows with the same love as those who give milk. At GauNeeti, no cow is ever "retired" or sent away; they are family, and we care for them until their last breath.

Maternal Care

Motherhood is sacred. We provide specialized nutrition and extra attention to our cows before and after delivery to ensure they recover with strength and peace.

The 3-6 Health Shield

To ensure our herd is very immune, we follow a strict medical protocol:

Every 3 Months: Mandatory vaccinations to prevent illness.
Every 6 Months: Full laboratory health check-ups to monitor internal wellness.

Zero Waste Living

Nothing goes to waste. From the fodder they eat to the Gomay (cow dung) they provide, we maintain a circular ecosystem that respects the Earth.

The GauNeeti Values

  • Every decision we make starts with the question: "Is this good for the cow?"
  • We are transparent about our practices. By sharing our regular lab reports and welcoming you to visit our farm, we ensure you can see our care and quality for yourself.
  • Using our backgrounds in IT and Engineering to apply rigorous quality checks without compromising on traditional Vedic methods.
  • Treating every customer as a family member and every cow as a mother.
